Kent won the U1450 section of the English Chess Federation (ECF) Counties Championship, defeating Essex in the final. The final score was 7.5-4.5. The match was held at Tunbridge Wells Bridge Club. Kent also won the U1450 title in the Southern Counties Chess Union (SCCU).
